The Geelong Comedy Festival is all about bringing great laughs to the people of Geelong. Now in its third year, the 2025 festival is a curated celebration of comedy — featuring stand-up, sketch, improv, and more — all happening right here in the heart of the city.

We team up with awesome local venues to host a variety of shows across six+ locations, each seating between 40 to 200 people, all within the Geelong CBD. Whether you're into big-name acts or discovering fresh talent, there's something for everyone — and every venue offers a unique vibe.

Geelong is Victoria’s second-largest city, with over 250,000 people, and we think it deserves a top-notch comedy festival. Our goal is simple: make comedy more accessible — for both the public and the artists — and turn Geelong into a must-visit stop on the comedy calendar.
