Gelato Messina is Australia’s most-loved gelateria, growing from a single Darlinghurst store in 2002 to now 37 stores nationwide. As the brand has expanded, our obsession with doing everything ourselves has only intensified. We never use pre-made bases or mass-produced flavour pastes. Every Messina flavour has its own recipe, made from scratch.

Every chunk, swirl and inclusion is made by our chefs at our in-house bakery in Marrickville, Sydney, along with the dulce-de-leche and chocolate production. Each Messina store features 40 freshly churned flavours daily. That includes 30 classics and 10 monthly specials.
