The road from our kitchen to your table is much longer than one can imagine, it crosses culinary traditions, stretches over hours of trials and experiments, learning and adapting about the cultures behind the food.

With over 14 years’ experience in hotels and restaurants alike across Australia and abroad, Chef Kyle Wang is renowned for creating flavoursome dishes and merging Asian culture with local produce. This is the story about our co-owner/head chef Kyle Wang, and we are super excited to tell it here at Sumi Geelong.
